Whimsy & Wine is a DIY studio and handmade store. “We specialize in wood decor with an emphasis on humor and Michigan themes. Our DIY studio is a great place to get together with friends or coworkers to create wood signs in an instructor lead workshop. Pewabic

Pewabic Pottery was founded in 1903 and is one of the oldest continually operating potteries in the world. Today, Pewabic is an active working pottery, architectural tile studio, and ceramic arts education center. Visitors can stroll around the store to shop for handcrafted ceramics as well as other ceramic work from artists across the United States. When time allows, visitors can take a guided tour through the production areas to see ceramic works being crafted by hand. They also have a collection of historic ceramics on the second floor. Admission to Pewabic Pottery is free and they are open Tuesday through Saturday from 10am to 5pm.
Yellow Door Art Market
3141 Twelve Mile Road, Berkley
Yellow Door Art Market is a 3,600-square-foot space that features the work of over 70 artists and makers. Here, you can find just about anything from locally made pottery to hand-stitched pillows and quirky art prints. They also have a selection of books written by local authors. Each area of the shop is unique and shoppers will enjoy strolling the many different areas looking for unique treasures.
The Rust Belt Market

The Rust Belt Market is an artisan marketplace located on the corner of Woodward and Nine Mile in Ferndale. The market is home to more than 30 independently owned and operated small businesses that consider Rust Belt to be their primary storefront. There is a wide variety of unique shops inside the market from skincare to metalsmithing and everything in between. The Rust Belt Market also holds an event space and a bar.
